There’s a blanket of snow outside my window so today seems like a good day to post this sunny autumn wedding! I’m so excited to share a few photos from Courtney and Clinton’s intimate September wedding. Courtney and Clinton held their ceremony on a hilltop in the Ganondagan State Historic Site. Ganondagan backs right up to their LOVELY backyard so we were able to walk straight from their home to the beautiful, sunny walking trails. After a sweet ceremony officiated by one of Courtney’s high school coaches we headed back to their house for the dinner and celebration. Just before sunset Courtney, Clinton, and I took one more walk back to the State Historic Site and enjoyed taking some golden hour portraits! I had so much fun spending the day with this amazing couple and their kind family. I’m sitting here smiling as I look back through these photos and wishing all the best to the stunning bride and groom. Cheers!

I feel so honored that I had the opportunity to photography Courtney and Brendan’s lovely wedding in West Bloomfield, NY. I felt an instant affinity to this couple when we first spoke on the phone and I learned that they now live near Boston, MA – right where my family and I lived for four years just before moving out to Rochester! Such a small world! The day started at the West Bloomfield Congregational Church. We snapped a few pre-wedding photos just before the ceremony, including some very sweet first-look photos for Courtney’s father! The look on his face when he first saw his beautiful daughter was priceless. The ceremony was absolutely lovely especially in the historic, elegant church setting. From there, we took a short drive to Kershaw Park on Lake Canandaigua for photos! What a gorgeous spot! As always I am immensely grateful for the chance to work with such a great couple, and witness their beautiful wedding day. Congratulations lovebirds!

A couple weeks ago I had the joy of photographing Brennon and Iman’s beautiful, intimate backyard wedding in Honeoye Falls, New York. Brennon originally contacted me for engagement photos, but I was very happily surprised when their scheduled engagement session evolved into a wedding ceremony! It was a beautiful celebration of an adorable couple. I’m so honored to have been able to document this special day! I’m always, ALWAYS so grateful to the couples who trust me with capturing such precious memories. Wishing Brennon and Iman a lifetime of happiness and love! Cheers!

This wedding season has been so different from what any of us could have imagined. My heart breaks for all the brides and grooms who’ve had to change their plans, postpone their dream wedding, or cancel their event entirely. As a small business, it’s been tough. However, as in all situations there are bright spots. Taylor and Mike decided to postpone their wedding reception until next spring, but they decided to hold a very small ceremony for their close family in Taylor’s parents’ backyard in Webster, NY. I am SO glad that they asked for me to be there to document their ceremony. It was pure joy to watch this kind, loving couple become husband and wife. Taylor and Mike, I couldn’t be happy for you and I am so excited to be there for your wedding celebration in 2021!
